Dr. Saji Mathew possesses 19 years of experience in teaching at various places including M.S. University of Baroda and Kannur University. He has to his credit 1 book and a number of research papers published at national and international levels. He has also delivered talks in more than 40 conferences in India and abroad which include
Mansfield College, Oxford and University of Stendhal, France.
He has also functioned as external expert for English Textbook Committee at SCERT, Trivandrum. He has also contributed several translations to anthologies published Oxford Unversity Pres.He was a recipient of UGC Research Award during 2014-16. His research interests include Cultural Studies, Translation Studies, Indian Literatures and Postcoloniality.
Dr. Saji has coordinated a number of programmes at School of Letters which include a national seminar on Indian Cinema and an Orientation programme for translators in collaboration with Central Institute of Indian languages, Mysore. He is a regular invitee to Orientation/Refresher courses conducted by various UGC-HRDCs throughout Kerala as resource person. He is a University nominee to the PG board of studies, Department of English, SB College, Changanachery.
